電視劇《The Flash》在多地大受歡迎，而早前 DC 便宣佈將會為 Ezra Miller 所飾演的 The Flash 將製作獨立個人電影，而電影班底將會由《Spider-Man: Homecoming》編劇 John Francis Daley 與 Jonathan Goldstein組成。

▼正當一眾粉絲都極為期待更多相關內容曝光時，電影製作檔期出現撞期的問題，男主角Ezra Miller 因要在《Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald》擔任要角，導致《The Flash》需改在 2019 年底製作，上映日期也只能推至 2021 年。
